Edo Photography Club:
Rules and Policies

1. Originality and Ownership

All photographs submitted to the Edo Photography Club must be the original work of the submitting member. By uploading an image, you confirm that you hold the sole copyright to that work. While you retain all ownership of your photos, by submitting them, you grant the club permission to display your work within our collections and on our community voting pages.

2. Respectful Conduct

Our primary goal is to foster a supportive environment. Members are encouraged to provide constructive feedback and inspiration. Harassment, hate speech, bullying, or derogatory comments toward other members or their work will not be tolerated and may result in removal from the club.

3. Content Guidelines

To maintain a safe and professional space for all ages, we do not allow the submission of:

  • Content that is illegal, violent, or promotes discrimination.
  • Sexually explicit or highly suggestive imagery.
  • Photos that infringe upon the intellectual property rights of others.

4. Privacy and Consent

Respect the privacy of your subjects. If your photograph features identifiable individuals (especially in private settings), ensure you have obtained their permission before sharing the image with the community. This is especially important for our Wedding, Event, and Maternity collections.

5. Submission Standards

To ensure every member has a chance to be seen, please limit your submissions to three photos per collection, per week. Photos should be high-resolution (minimum 1920px on the long edge) to ensure they display correctly in our galleries.

6. Use of Club Resources

The "Find a Photographer" feature is intended to help members connect for professional collaboration. Please do not use member contact information for unsolicited spam or non-photography-related marketing.
